Scarborough Archers was formed in 1934 and has its own shooting grounds in Osgodby. The club has a long history of providing people from all walks of life, the ability to shoot for either enjoyment or to enter competitions. The purchase of our field in 2014 has allowed us to provide facilities for shooting a range of bow styles including, Recurve, Longbow and Field Bows. We are also have our own 3D field target shooting area.

We provide a welcoming club that allows those who wish to shoot to achieve their full potential. With over 70 members there is always someone on hand to give you a helping hand, be it from the technical information that might have you slightly confused, or have someone watch your form and provide helpful tips to improve. In doing so we hope that we make the sport accessible for archers of all abilities.

The Scarborough Archers is very much a community driven club, we take on board suggestions and improvements, as the club is just as much yours as it is ours. We also have social events dotted around the year, including BBQ events, open days and club nights out, which you are able to bring family members along.

If you need anymore information, you are more than welcome to pop down on a shooting night and have a chat and see what archery is all about.
