We had to rearrange it once, due to COVID restrictions and had to cancel it last year for the same reason, but we finally made it on August 1st (Yorkshire Day), and thankfully the weather was kind to us. We had almost 100 visitors through the gate, making it another successful Open Day once again. We like to thank everyone that turned up to to try their hand at archery.
Thank you to Tracy, who organised the refreshment table with her helper Kensie.
The hardest worked members were probably Wayne B and Cameron, who received all the used arrows on their table, sanitised them, and sent them back out to be used again.
We couldn’t have managed the shooting and collecting arrows without Neil, Ali, Paul, John, Derek, Chris, Wayne S and Peter with his assortment of bows for visitors to try.
And would anyone have ever found their way in, without Phil’s car park management!
We hope to see you again next year!
