Burton Constable 2017 – Phil shows them how it’s done

A small group of Scarborough Archers once again went to the East Riding Competition, on the 6th August. The competition is set within the beautiful grounds of Burton Constable, which puts many archery fields to shame.

It proved to be a successful day for the group with a bounty of trophies and medals being awarded.

Special mention goes to Phil S, who smashed the competition with a club record of 818, with the nearest person to him being 57 points behind.

Phil P, picked up 1st place in the other wooden bow category, with a 53 point difference.

Not happy with there only being two winners, the recurve group also took home the Team Award, beating their nearest rivals by 240 points.
