Open Day 2015

Scarborough Archers Open Day on Bank Holiday Monday was hailed a success by the 160+ visitors from Osgodby, Cayton, Eastfield and further afield, who took advantage of the good weather and a chance to try archery for free. Club coaches, Neil and Phil Simms were on the shooting line to offer advice, as was Colin Greenway in the woodland Field Shoot area, and the gate was controlled by Steve Griffiths. Refreshments were served by Ann Naylor, Julie Pattison, Joyce Greaves and Debbie Simms.   Tasha Pitts made a celebratory ‘ target ‘ cake. The day resulted in over 40 people enrolling on the ever popular beginners courses.
