Eight members of Scarborough Archers travelled to Catterick to compete in the ‘ 64th Scorton Gold Tournament’. The weather was warm but overcast with not too much wind, and as expected in such good shooting conditions, scoring was high. All of Scarborough Archers members shot well, most scoring personal bests. The team of John Naylor, Robin Little and Roger Greaves won second place in the team score.
In the Junior section, Phil Simms shot a personal best to finish runaway winner of the Junior boys trophy and gold medal.
