Baz’s Letter

When Baz Johnson’s wife bought him a Longbow to compliment his love of medieval history, she didn’t know what she had started.
After completing a beginners course with Scarborough Archers he joined the club and was captivated, so much so that he decided to write a letter to Archery UK ( archery governing body ).  Baz wrote about the companionship and friendliness of all the club members, how everyone is willing to help each other and the friendly banter on the shooting line compared with the adjacent football match.
To his surprise, Baz’s letter was printed in the Archery UK quarterly magazine and awarded Star Letter along with a Axcel Tournament sight for his recurve bow.
Scarborough Archers have a few vacancies for their June beginners course.
