Letter to the committee

The committee recently received the following letter. It is nice to know that we are appreciated.

FAO: All members of the committee
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for the time and effort that you have put in to running Scarborough Archers. As a new member I have found that the way you all run the club has made ‘getting into archery’ so very easy and enjoyable. Everything from the banter between members whilst shooting a Frostbite round on a cold wet Sunday morning to the mulled wine and mince pies of the Christmas Fun Shoot show that Scarborough Archers is run by a group of dedicated and approachable people who go out of their way to make sure that all us new archers fit in from the beginning – there are no barriers, preferential treatment or unfavourable comments about anything from the quality of kit we use to the occasional lost arrow found some 100’ behind the targets!
A club run this way deserves to succeed and I’m sure that with the committee you have in place it will do so. Please carry on as you are and we can all look forward to an even brighter future for Scarborough Archers, which I hope to be a member of for many years to come.
Well done one and all.
B Johnson
