The Scarborough Round

For information on how to shoot the Scarborough Round please find the relevant section below:

Recurve – Senior and Junior Archers: 4 dozen arrows shot from a distance of 40yards on an 80cm face.

Compound – Senior and Junior Archers: 4 dozen arrows shot from a distance of 40yards on a 60cm face.

Score sheets for the Scarborough Round can be found in the filing cabinet, in the drawer labelled “Scarborough Round Score Sheets”.

When you have completed a round, please drop it into the competition entry box on top of the filing cabinet in the clubhouse.

Scores will be registered and compiled on a monthly basis (by the Records Officer) and the results posted on the club noticeboard and on the club website.

 

Scarborough Archers Shooting Colours

From October 2009 the club colours are:

A polo shirt or t shirt Navy blue with yellow club badge on front. Option of archer’s name on front. Option of ‘Scarborough Archers’ and/or club logo in yellow/gold on back. Option of club web address in yellow/gold on back.

White or beige trousers/skirt.

Jumper or sweatshirt Navy blue with yellow club badge on front. Option of archer’s name on front. Option of ‘Scarborough Archers’ and/or club logo in yellow/gold on back. Option of club web address in yellow/gold on back.

Jacket, fleece or bodywarmer Navy blue with yellow club badge on front. Option of archer’s name on front. Option of ‘Scarborough Archers’ and/or club logo in yellow/gold on back. Option of club web address in yellow/gold on back.

Club members should also wear these colours at tournaments that call for GNAS dress regulations.

In-Stitches have the club logo and will stitch it on to almost any article of clothing for a reasonable fee. They can also supply navy polo shirts.
