Scarborough Archers was formed over 75 years ago.

Currently the club has over 30 members, many of whom shoot in tournaments as well as for pleasure at the club’s grounds.

Members mainly shoot recurve bows, as used in the Olympics, though new members of all disciplines and levels of experience are welcome.

Scarborough Archers home is at McCain’s Sports Club on Osgodby Lane near Cayton. We shoot here between April and September each year before finding an indoor venue in which to practice during the winter months.

Registered with the Grand National Archery Society

Scarborough Archers is also an associated club of the Yorkshire Archery Association
